Message from the Squadron Commander
Welcome to the Monadnock Composite Squadron!
On behalf of myself and the rest of the staff, thank you for joining! After your application was processed, you should have received a Civil Air Patrol Membership Identification Number (CAPID) from me via e-mail. If you did not, please let me know. Your initial training will begin by logging in to CAP's official website, www.capnhq.gov. There, you will creat a password and be directed to the "Learning Management System" to begin your Level 1 training.
Level 1 training consists of 13 lessons that you may complete online at home followed by making a membership "Plan of Action" and choosing a specialty. After each lesson, there will be an opportunity to meet with your mentor that will be introduced to you at your first meeting. Below, you can find a file of the complete Student Guide for the entire course. don't let it scare you, it isn't as much as it seems! The most important part is the Cadet Protection Program Training. In that course you will find out the rules, regulations and requirements to assure the protection and safety of our cadets. That is included as one of the lessons in the Level 1 training.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to come and see me at a weekly meeting. My phone number is included at the bottom of the e-mail including your CAPID. Otherwise, you can contact me at ( ***). Again, thank you for joining. I look forward to working with you and making our squadron a success!
